R a p h a N + Part One & Part Two

A revolutionary formulation targeting glutamate toxicity and neurological function.

Summary

RaphaN+ is a special two-part, probiotic-based supplement for individuals with elevated blood glutamate levels who wish to remedy the impact of glutamate toxicity on their neurological function. Based on cutting-edge research, the proprietary RaphaN+ formulation, in combination with suitable dietary modifications, targets the underlying metabolic issue to bring about substantial brain health benefits to such individuals. Specifically, RaphaN:

  • Enhances glutamate metabolism in the gut
  • Supports glutamate balance in the central nervous system
  • Helps protect against glutamate toxicity
  • Boosts the brain’s cognitive function and motor control
  • Promotes nerve cell repair and regeneration
  • Supports a healthy digestive tract

Product Description

Importance of glutamate metabolism for the central nervous system

Glutamate is the major excitatory neurotransmitter in the human brain. In about 90% of the synapses (junctions between nerve cells or between a nerve cell and a muscle fiber), glutamate is used as a chemical signal to relay nerve messages. This action of glutamate is vital for just about for all brain functions, from thinking, feeling and remembering to the control of heartbeat, breathing and muscle movements. After being released by one neuron (nerve cell), glutamate binds to glutamate receptors on the receiving neuron, triggering an influx of Na+ and Ca++ ions as an electrical signal down the neuron’s axon, as well as physiological changes such as the production of more glutamate receptors. Support cells in the brain called astrocytes clear away excess glutamate from the synaptic junction by taking up glutamate through specialized transporters and metabolizing it, thus ending glutamate’s excitatory signal.

Causes and neurological consequences of glutamate toxicity

Normally, glutamate levels in the blood circulation are 5-100 μmol/L, while glutamate levels in the brain are kept within 0.3-2.0 μmol/L. This extraordinarily low concentration of glutamate is critical for brain function and made possible by the blood-brain barrier. However, brain glutamate levels can surge as a result of a combination of factors, including a high dietary intake of glutamate, a lack of glutamate-metabolizing gut bacteria, a disrupted blood-brain barrier due to hypertension, diabetes, or frequent intensive physical exercise while on a high-protein diet. When the brain is routinely flooded with excess glutamate, astrocytes’ glutamate-clearing capacity become overwhelmed, and prolonged glutamate accumulation at synapses causes neurons to become overexcited. The result is glutamate excitotoxicity, which has damaging consequences to neuronal function over time. Glutamate toxicity may be an issue in as many as 95% of brain conditions.

A clinically tested formulation to aid nerve function and repair

RaphaN+ is a ground-breaking supplement based on clinical research evidence and proprietary ingredient expertise. The formulation addresses the fundamental metabolic issue of glutamate toxicity in order to protect nerve cells from further harm and promote the cells’ return to healthy functioning. Regardless of the exact mechanisms involved, decreased blood glutamate concentrations have been associated with more favorable neurological outcomes.

RaphaN+ PART ONE contains a special probiotic, L. plantarum, which has the rare property of being able to convert potentially toxic glutamate into harmless glutamine but not vice versa. RaphaN+ PART TWO contains a mix of 28 supporting ingredients including vitamins, minerals, amino acids and plant bioactives. Combining RaphaN+ Part One and Part Two in water creates a potent mixture, able to (a) activate the probiotic bacteria that boost glutamate metabolism and help balance serum and brain glutamate levels, (b) support the bacteria’s survival and colonization in the small intestine, and (c) supply key nutrients that promote nerve health and function. Many individuals feel a difference within short periods of time, and experience remarkable cumulative benefits after longer-term use. Start the journey to wholeness and freedom with RaphaN+ today.

Recommendations

  1. For individuals tested with elevated postprandial blood glutamate, a vegan diet, low glutamate diet, or minimal animal protein diet is highly recommended.
  2. Avoid alkaline water, city water, antacid medications, anti-microbial herbs such as olive leaf extract, tea tree oil, oregano oil, uva ursi, grapefruit seed extract, colloidal silver or mild silver protein, and olive oil, as these will reduce the potency of the RaphaN+ regimen.
  3. Please visit www.nufargoglobal.com to download a copy of the USDA National Nutrient Database for the food content of glutamate and other vital information for enhancing health.
